Aylsham Waterproof Riding Boots

Lovely boots, good quality, great fit for slim legs. Ideal casual boots, comfortable to ride and use about the yard.

Bought to replace my previous pair which I've had for about 4 years. They're still going strong, but they were in brown and it's harder to keep them looking smart. I've used the old ones for yard work in all but the worst mud as well as riding, but I will keep the new ones just for riding for now. Calf width I'd say is a bit narrower than the original (I have wide calves and these just fit), but they're nice and tall and supportive (I'm 5'10")
If anything, these feel sturdier than the old pair and I'm looking forward to wearing them.

I had two pairs in the past. Very comfortable in both winter and summer but the zip was the weak link! The first pair lasted two years and the second only a year.

Well this is my third pair … so that should say it all! My go to for Autumn and Winter they are a robust hard working boot , I can hack and school in these boots, my feet stay dry and they fit my leg well. I decided I would give another brand a try this winter but they did not live up to the Tuffa boot - hence the purchase of my third pair .

I've worn Tuffa Country Rider Boots for years, but wanted a fitted long boot for improved leg stability and precision while schooling. I shopped around a bit, but soon returned to Tuffa, knowing I like their grippy rubber sole! I found the Aylsham was by far the best fit out of everything I'd tried (helped by the choice of calf width). I'm a size 5 - 5.5 and ended up with a size 4 slim (which fitted snuggly around the ankle with a single pair of sports socks). So, I'd say they run a bit big! The boots took no wearing in whatsoever; they were immediately comfy and supportive. All in all, very impressed.

These boots are comfy straight from the box. Good for riding and yard work.

I love the Aylsham boots so much that I bought a second pair just in case! For me they fit super comfortably for someone with thick calves. As they are fairly waterproof I can walk into a muddy field without worry and hose them off. They’re hard working but nice enough for me to eventually in.
My only wish would be for a lighter pair to wear in the hot summer here in the US.

Comfortable, warm, great 'feel' for riding and tough enough for yard work. Just ordered another pair for my son.

I recently tried to return a pair which I bought a year ago and wore for 6 months over winter. They cracked along the edges of the zip making zipping up tricky and then a zip broke. They also cracked across the toe. Return was refused so I begrudgingly bought a new pair. I have been cleaning and putting Dublin on them every evening and keeping utility room overnight but the same already looks to be starting to happen after just two weeks. Toes have very deep creases and the edges of the zip have creases which will no doubt crack in time. Very comfy boots and great grip on the sole, but really disappointing that they don’t last

I'm very happy with my Aylsham Boots. The boots are very comfortable to wear (although not worn in yet as still very new) and I was so happy to finally find Long Boots that zip up my calf. My ankle to knee is a bit short so the boots are a little long, but I'm hoping that once they wear in they will soften up and drop a little. Either way I'm looking forward to riding in them. I think these are a great everyday boot, but probably a bit casual in the shoe heel for showing in.
Tuffa's service was exceptional, super fast delivery and so easy to deal with. I ordered these boots online while I was on holiday in the UK and I received them 2 days after ordering.

The boot seems a little long but when on the horse they feel just right
I worry a bit about the zipper will break if I tug it too much

They were a lovely boot but have to return them because although it was described as “ wide” it wasn’t really. However, their customer service lady was wonderful so I decided to take her advice and order another pair from them that was extra wide.
